Hi new member here, does anyone know if 07 screamin eagle street performance mufflers will fit an 05 xl883? I love the sound of the SE street performance pipes. The 2 dealers in my area don't know the answer, hard to believe. I hate to pay big money for the pipes then find out they won't fit.

Hello Duke, and welcome to the Forum.
According to the parts book, they will only fit 07' and up. There are other slip-ons in there that say they will fit your bike (non-SP), so I don't have any reason to think they just didn't list them for your ride. I suspect that the cross-over is what will not fit your bike. You might see if the crossover portion from an 07' could be made to fit your bike, but that may just be to much trouble.
I agree with you though, the SE SP's sound awsome. Not very loud, but damn good tone, particularly when you twist the grip .

I'm unsure why it says they won't fit. Last night I just installed the stock slip-on mufflers from a 2007 1200 Custom onto my 2006 883 Custom and everything fit perfectly.
