Replace it with aforged chrome wheel.

Much easier to clean, but expensive.

Spray industrial degreaser (barely diluted simple green in a spray bottlewill work)let sit for a minute, use a light brush such as a 1" paint bursh works really well to give the spokes a once over loosening upthe heavy ****, Spray once more with degreaser, let it sit 1 min and hose off with garden sprayer nozzle.
Leaf blower or compressed air will dry it offin a hurry. Whole process takes 8-10 min max which is better thanthe 40 min I used to spend polishing my spokes before I discovered this trick.

BT, barely diluted? What water to sg ratio? 1 to 1? 2 to 1? etc.

I use a "Webster" it's one of those round plastic brush things designed for knocking spider webs down out of the rafters but dip it soap and water and you'd be suprised how many hard to reach spots on your motorcycle it'll scrub sparkling clean.

5 parts water to one part simple green should be plenty strong. Anything more than that is just wasting degreaser.
