Default Givi is on the Sportster

Awhile back someone mounted a tour box (Givi?) on their Sportster. Could someone direct me to the thread? Want to put one on my Sportster. Thanks in advance

Default RE: Tour Box Question?

Ok, I purchased a Givi N33 this morning.....attempting to install bottom plate to my HD luggage rack...won't fit (damn). Thinking about drilling and mounting Givi directly to the luggage rack since I won't be taking it off....what do you think? Should I devise a metal bracket? This is worse than a jig-saw puzzle[:@]

Thanks guys for the link.............

You should be able to mount the mounting plate right to the luggage rack or tour rack. Post up some pictures and let me see what you've got going on. I'd be happy to look at what you have and offer up some suggestions. I've had to rig up some pretty interesting racks for various bikes.

Nice neighbor took my luggage rack and Givi mounting plate home last night....returned it this morning at 8 am!! Put chrome trim around the box lid and HD sticker over the Givi sticker. Will ride tomorrow and see how it handles....looking good so far.

Thanks everyone for their help....this is a great forum

Joao, I have fitted Givi boxes to various bikes, although not Harleys. What would you like to know?
