Just slide the jack under the bike twords the rear a bit and jack it up to just clear the wheels to see if its balanced right.
Might take a couple times but youll know when its right,couple straps holding it down on the front frame area and your good to go. Ive done it many times, never a problem..........

keep the side stand down at all times.
Slide it under jack it up strap it down set lock and your done.
Sears Pro lift i use it on my FB and RG I even get on the bike with it on the stand I know it is not for that but I can. plus i wheel it all over the garage on the stand with very liittle effort
This thing is 100% stable and alot of room to play with for centering jack

On my Sporty, I have to put the stand up to get the jack at a good balence point. Basically I sit on the bike, lift the stand, then use my right foot to help guide the jack under.
I use 2 straps, one between the seat and tank and the other across the neck area.
