Default rinehart cross back exhaust

hello again all...i'm thinking about putting the rinehart cross backs (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/RINEH...dZViewItem.com) on my08 nightster. i did a search of the archives and i didn't see anyone post that they've got these, but some of you did mention that it looked like it'll burn the boots up with mid controls.

anybody know if this is an issue and what the pro/con's of these pipes are? also what would you guys think about these taped up? thanks

The cross backs are a bit pricey but everyone who has rhinharts absloutely loves them. Think of it this way, you won't be just another nightster with short shots on it...

I wanted them also but my problem was I wanted them all black I'm anti crome for my Olive Green/Black Nightster. After buying them & taking them to my local powder coater I would have had $1000.00 for pipes .To much for my blood I would say I haven't heard any other pipes that sound as good as Rhinharts... just another Vance & Hines Short Shot blues here but hey I have money left over for gas this summer LoL

Chrome looks a lot nicer on the nightster than you all think.
