Default Anyone with Mini Apes on a 1200R?

Within the next couple of days, I'm going to put a set of Mini Apes on my Roadster. Just kind of curious if anyone has these and can comment on it, or post a pic of yours. I'm pretty big, so I think they will fit me well and I don't think they will look to goofy. The R is so tall and kind of level, I'm afraid it will look odd. Kind of hard to picture it in my mind.

I don't think it will look odd. There are a couple 1200Rs I've seen here with mini-apes, check out the sporter picture post here: https://www.hdforums.com/m_193643/tm.htm and you'll probably see some. You'll love the comfort and not being hunched over the bars.

Thank you very much. I finally found an 883 Roadsterwith mini's last night from the first link you gave me. Took a while to wade through all the pix, but it was worth it.

Thanx again!

I put the black HD mini apes on my 06 1200L. I think that they look really good. I was able to make all of the cables work by rerouting them except the brake line and I had to replace that. All in all a fairly easy project just do some research prior to starting.

Yah, I agree, they look really good on the lower bikes. I was just kind of concerned they may make the Roadster look too tall. It's roughly 3" taller than the Custom and the Low, at least the rear is anyway. I think it will look ok anyway, but I like the feel, so the looks are socondary. Still, you like for your ride to look good
