Default Samson exhaust on an XL1200C

I am about to order a 05 XL1200C. I was looking through some exhaust systems and Samson caught my eye. Has anyone ever used there "Big Guns" or "Big Guns II" pipes? I know that they come without baffles, but i want a loud bike. I'm kinda shaping my sporty to like like a big twin. Here is alink at JP Cylces for them : http://www.jpcycles.com/productgroup...=Harley&page=1

Also can i get an opion on which exhaust ya'll think is ccolest....

Thank you

I have the Sampson Big Guns on my 2000 Sportster. I picked the Street Sweepers. No Baffles. They sound good and look good as well.

I have a freind who has the Big Guns. Nice Pipes! His only complaint is that the ends are turned down slightly and he blows dust up when he cracks the throttle.

Anbody got picks of some? Do you have the Big Guns or Big Guns II? How about a sound clip? I don't want to spend near 500 and not like them, know what i mean...

If you go to the samson website, they have pics of the pipes on sportsters. Also my Street Sweepers kick up some dust on dirt roads, but I usually stay off the dirt roads anyways.

I have an 04 1200 custom sporty
I went with samson Big-GunIIs, long style slashers. Get the big-gunIIs as they come with heat shields. I like the look and sound of them.
If you haven't already done so you will need to RE-jet, and get a Hi-flow Air filter . I did not get the baffles instead made my self a set of "Lolly-Pops" Nice because the 1/4" hole is already drilled in the back of the pipes. The fit and finish of the Samsons was good.
I got mine thru "Dennis Kirk"

A re-jet is a must as HD sets up all there engines to run "almost" lean for the emmissions crap. Your best bet to find info on re-jetting is go to http://www.sportster.org/home.html. If your handy its not that bad to do yourself. BUY if you have doubts better off getting a dealer or INDY to do it.
I like the way the hyper-charger looks, it does flow better than a stock HD. A/C. BUT The Harley Screamin Eagle A/C filter flows better from what I have read and its cheaper.
The sound is LOUD. But with the pipes ending behind you its Not a bad ride at all. Most all of my buddys Have V&H, and One has BUBS [rienheart] Wild ******* [Long style] with no baffels. I like mine.
