I've owned bikes that had an inch of snow on them.......

NEXT
Someone mention snow?

But serious, bikes are just a vehicle, and like your car or truck, they won't 'melt' if they get wet....

Hey OFG, my best bud recently joined your Combat Vets Association in Winter Park, Colorado last year at a rally. As I am not a vet, I cannot join, but you guys run a real nice organization. But hey, I got a sweet "Support Combat Vets" patch!
I'm in a couple of different "organizations",and on the veterans side of thingsI really enjoy the CMVA, and appreciate the work they do towards helping and assisting all veterans (and not just limited to those veterans with actual combat experience).

It's a good national organization, and I believe they now have official Chapters in about 39 states.

It's really growing, especially in the past couple of years.

We DREAM of rain here, haven't had a decent rain for nearly 10 yrs, dams at 25% full (or 75% empty)
You get booked for washing a bike or car downunder.
No watering gardens, lawns etc
Every new house now has to have a water tank, don't know why, no bloody rain to put in the tanks

And I live in what was known as the garden state, rain 70% of the time.
Now we are known as the "Dry State"

Hmmm, maybe this climate thingy is REAL

Bloody drought !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers

Dude, we had the same thing here in Colorado from 1998 - 2005 It seems to be moving east over the planet, as I know Europe had the same problem a few years after our started. As of Summer 2005-Winter 2006, things started getting better here. Now we get so much rain and snow again that people are bitching about too much moisture. People are never happy.

Anwyay, we got 200% snowpack in the mountains and no water restrictions again, at least in my town.

OH MY GOD A WET BIKE!

Dude, lighten up. Be proud of the dirt you accumulate. It means you're RIDING!

Not clean - not even a little:

Worst rain I've run into was a full blown downpour, was coming home from my former significant other's house at the time, she had her family there or I wouldve stayed all night. This was at 1 am on a country pavedroad, thunder and lightning everywhere, I didnt know til I got home there was a severe thunderstorm warning and I was right in the middle of it....oi it stung. Had to slow down to 15, eventually stop and just wait and go a little more..etc etc, but earnedmy "rain badge" that night.

What did I read? Saddest words in the English language: "Harley for sale. Never seen rain."

I particularly don't mind riding in the rain. In fact, I rode year round when I had my BMW F650GS (Lots of rain, dark, freezing temps, etc...miss the heated grips). I've got good rain gear.

I was just hoping the keep the new Harley 'new' until the Fall. Then ride regardless of the weather.

BTW, love the scoot!!
