I got a factory one in my civic and I absolutley love that thing!!!! Granted I use it maybe once a month to actually find something but it is the **** to have it has every type of option, you ask it what time it is and it tells you Not to mention usefull stuff too Anyway I like it so much I want one for my bike and after looking into it I would just go with the tomtom one. It's small and cheap. But if you don't care about small and cheap them go for the tomtom rider2. That thing is pretty nasty it has tons of features and it's waterproof well I'll just put up a link cause it is nasty. One thing i will say about it is that you can give it a final destination and it will give you a scenic rought to it. I'll post back with the info.

I use a Nuvi 660 by Garmin. It isn't waterproof but works excellent. It runs off of its own battery but only lasts about 3.5 hours. I hard wired it to the bike and purchased a Ram Mount offebay. The screen is big enough to see easily and can even use it while wearing gloves. Would definitely recommend it.

I almost forgot the Nuvi 660 also has MP3. I listen to this sometimes when I ride. I can still hear things but the music is nice to have.

Garmin C330 Streetpilot. Use it in the truck and on my Harley using a handlebar mount. Love it.

Good old Map and compass here. I just get so tired dealing with GPS day in day out up at work.

If I had to have one I would more than likely get the DeLorme Earthmate GPS PN-20 Deluxe Bundle.

A friend and I were out on a ride yesterday and we were following this other group of Harleys. I thought they were going to the same place we were. They missed the turnoff and we followed. And couldn't find the way back to the road we were supposed to be on. 35 miles later we pull into a gas station and my friend says, "I got a map!!!" So I go over to look at the map, and it was one of those GPS units. Of course we were there for 10 minutes trying to get the damn thing to get a signal. I asked a guy who was getting gas where this road was, and he told me. I told my friend to put the gadget away and ride.
