Default Peacemaker exhaust?

Does anyone have any experience with running a sportster (or other model) with the peacemaker exhaust which they would be willing to share, pro's and con's.

Its a system I'm considering, along with others and dont recal seeing any posts about it on here.

My bikes an XL1200C in case that has any relevance.

Not a bad idea but it would be cooler if they offered that setup with other pipe designs. My question is how do you tune your bike for that[sm=WTFsgign.gif]

Got them on my 2005 883C. Put them on last July, no rejet or anything (still running stock AC). I think they're great. I roll in and out of the neighborhood in quiet mode and open them up everywhere else (most of the time). They aren't as loud assome of the other pipes out there but ya can't beat the adjustable part and they do have a good sound. I've had nothing but compliments from other riders on them and a few have considered getting them. I paid $600 from JPCycle last year but seen in the new catalog that they went up to around $650 for the Sportster. Definitely get a bit more power with the valves opened. Might even get better mileage but I never keep track of that.

Thanks for that trmac, but would still beinterested to hear the views of others who have them.

I suspect if you change the air cleaner one would rejet / remap in my case for loud mode which would probably result in the bike not being ideally set up for when in quite mode. But as long as that were for only relatively short distances ie rolling in and out of the neighbourhood and whilest passing policeI cant see it doing any harm.

Hopefully there are some other folks out there running with them. I've seen other threads that mentioned them but not any that had anyones experience with them. I haven't looked into how good they are with the EFI as I don't have it.

Good luck with your research.
