I stopped by a HD dealer today, to pick up a new air cleaner element for my Screamin Eagle air cleaner. K&N now makes a replacement element for this application!!!! They had just got this new part in stock.

How Much $$$$$$?

 

Most M/C K&N air filters run around $45-$50 depending on where you buy it, but they are pretty much good for life. (100,000 miles)

 

I'm not sure how much it was. I was so exciting that K&N finally made a filter that would work on my bike, I just said SOLD!! The total with our 9.25% sales tax was $60 something. I don't remember exactly, but keep in mind, that was at a Harley dealer. Probably can get one cheaper elsewhere.

 

yep, I put one in a couple months ago. Superior quality, think I'll get one for my pickup. Sportypig that 9.25% tax seems awfully high, what's up with that?

 

9.25%...that sucks! I thought the 8% in Arlington, Tx was bad and there having to pay foranother newstadium again.

 

No State income tax in TN, so they hit us hard on the sales tax.

I just checked the K&N website. They list the price at $54.

 

Same here in Tx but our state sales tax is 6.25% then each city can add on what ever they want. Sounds like the state of TN is really gouging yall.

 

Sounds good to me. Our sales tax is 7% and they take hundreds of dollars out of my paycheck too.

 

They screw us good in Nebraska too.
