Be on the safe side and take wheel to good shop...have them inspect it and install two new bearings.
The bearing you installed migh be damaged now due to failure of other bearing and running out of true.

I would definately have the wheel checked out, or just go ahead and return it. I had the rear wheel bearings blow upon me, and I mean literally blow up. The whole housing for the bearings came out and there was not one single ball left i was just riding on the axle. Took it to the dealer and to me the wheel looked fine but they said the wheel was totalled, they replaced the wheel free of charge. Definately have that wheel checked out, don't just rely on the bearings, regardless of whether or not the new bearings that you put in didn't fail.
