RE: cleaning
What color did you get? You don't want to wax the denim paint. Just mild car soap and water, and wax only the shiny parts. If it's vivid black (shiny), then anything you'd use on your car will be safe for the bike. Yes, the seat will work (I've seen one at the dealership). But if you're planning ontwo-up riding, you'll want to upgrade the rear shocks, fast.

RE: cleaning
People here are probably getting tired of reading my posts regarding this but my solution is very simple. $1.50 and 4 minutes at the do-it-yourself car wash and it looks like it came off the showroom floor. Don't use the high pressure wand around wheel bearings andinstruments. It's worked for me for years.

RE: cleaning
Harley Gloss (or S100 if you're Rick James) sprayed onto a new clean microfiber cloth (just until damp)... Wipe lightly... Then go over again to remove any residue... Do not clean the rough surfaces with a microfiber... Just spray on a lil PigSpit... Dab with a Terry cloth to remove stuck on bugs/grime. Do the wipe down before every ride (takes about 5 mins).... Not the Pig Spit (that is only as needed).... Only wet wash the bike when it is REALLY dirty... This process will maintain the finish... probably... forever
