I have noticed more and more riders here in Houston, Tx. Is it that more and more people are buying bikes for fun or is the rising cost of gas making them seek alternate modes of Transportation? What do you think?

 

and I'm sure we will see a lot more with gas prices the way they are.

 

Sure are motosickles out lately. However, I'm sure the *** hats with cellphones will get together and try to thin our numbers before too long. *grin*

We had a couple months of crap weather in Houston and now that it's gettin' nice out, the bikes are coming out of the garages and I suspect that's part of it.

 

what kind of mpg do harleys get anyhow?

 

I average about 50 mpg if i dont wind it out and just flat out haul A$$

 

I seen me a motorbikel on the road just the other day... Damn that fellar was grinnin from ear to ear... Them motorbikels must be some fun!!!

 

I get about 49 mpg on the highway.
I haven't noticed an increase in bikes on the road around here.

 

I am still breakin' mine in, so you don't wanna hear how many miles I'm getting per tank... But, in my experience, it depends entirely upon how much you enjoy twistin' your right wrist!

 

There are a lot more people on bikes in the last few years, that is for sure.
