Default new nightster tank?

has anyone seen a 1200c tank on a 1200n ? can it be done? post a pic if anyone has done! it

They mount exactly the same. So why not? [8D]

EDIT: I can't say it would look good, to be honest...I think what you have in your head is more along the lines of a Fatbob tank. I think it would look goofy without the peanut, just my opinion.

If anything, Frisco the stock tank...THAT would look kickass on a nighty.

What 6'er means is to re-mount the stock tank higher, up above the frame rail. This mod is called a "frisco" tank.

Frisco = Low tunnel/Flat mount. It raises the tank up to the same level as the backbone on the frame. They increase fuel capacity when done right...you SHOULD relocate the fill cap to the top most part of the tank to get max capacity, but you don't have to. This is similar, but a true Frisco'd tank will sit flush mount on the frame, not have a low tunnel. They look pretty kickass.
