I never got a 5k maintenance done...I'll get the 10k maintenance this summer.

 

The service is entirely up to you. Pay what a LOCAL dealer or indy wants or save the money and do it yourself. Just think about this; Is your butt worth the price of the service? A good thing about doing the service yourself is, you get to know the in's and out's of your scooter. You'll be able to "feel" a problem before it becomes a real problem likelife a locked up motor in the freeway at rush hour.

 

My 5K service (done in 2006 before I owned the bike) listed at 2.6 hours and cost, including parts and supplies, was $235.94 at the Harley Shop

The 10 K service, which is mostly the same as a 5 K, done in April of 07 was listed at 3.8 hours and totaled $285.15. The labor portion was $209.00

Can't seem to find my 15K bill.
