Mid Controls or FWD Controls

RE: Mid Controls or FWD Controls
On a side note, I noticed today after a 100 mile ride, I had no issues with numbness or hurting tailbone. I have my LePera seat which is less comfortable than the stocker on the bike right now.
Thinking back the only really bad times I can recall were when riding two up. I tend to ride sitting in a more upright postiion when she's on the back than I do when I'm alone on a ride.
As for my forwards: they will stay and a set of Kuryakyn "Swing Wings" are in my near future. http://www.easternperformance.com/in...oducts_id=1699
There will be plenty of 2 up comfort as soon as her car is paid off.... Then we go Bagger shopping!!! [8D]And the Sportster becomes exclusively a 1 up bike.

RE: Mid Controls or FWD Controls
If I had it to do over for a sportster I think I would have mids and hwy. pegs. The 04 up 3/4 controls just don't stetch my legs enough when cruising and the mids would be nicer for handling. Compared to a big twin the sportsters fwds. are about where mids are for me on a BT and my 32" inseam is bent like sitting in a chair with myfwds. on my 06 1200C. The hwy. pegs seem to sit further fwd. than fwd. controls. You can even see the difference compared to pearlsporty fwd. controls above which is older that the pegs are 3-4" further back on newer bikes.
