Default 1200n Pipes

Looking to change exhaust on my 2008 1200n and looking at Vince & Hines (black) or straight pipes wrapped in black tape; Also am race tuning at same time. Any ideas?

I really like the Rinehart Cross Backs on the Nightster. I think wrapping them looks even better, gives it more of a old school hi perf look.

I put V&H Black Short Shots on my wife's olive and black1200N. She loves them and so do I.

I've heard the shorties are really loud - what about a mid-range loudness and good rumble?

Thanks for input. Ordered pipes from Tallahassee HD Dealer and they will wrap them. Now I need some cool looking saddlebags for May trip to Blue Ridge N.C

They are loud, but, in a good way, I think. Idle is awesome- sounds like a cammed up hot rod. On the road, it is not bad at all. She loves them! They are not as loud as my V&H Big Radius on my Softail.
