RE: worth it or worthless???????????
I will take this time to thank everyone who put in their 2 cents worth. I will check one last time in the morning on here to see if anyone else gives anymore opinions on the situation. I do thank everyone for responding to this and will let everyone know what happens tomorrow.
Either I get it or I don't.......

Well, I'll probably take some heat for this, but...
What kind of Yami did you ride? Was it one of the YZ's or a Star?
The reason I ask is that, like you, I came back to Motorcycling after a hiatus, but I came from the sportbike world, and thought I was getting to an age where I needed a cruiser.
Now, while I really like my Sporty, it's just not...doing it for me any more in terms of performance.
So, I'd suggest you really think carefully about whether a full-on cruiser is what you want.
Not trying to turn you off the Sporty, I'm just saying think carefully about it.
'Cause, after 8 months on a Sporty, I'm looking at Buells.

RE: worth it or worthless???????????
I had a yamaha seca 2 for my first bike and my second bike was a V-star which I loved but then got it in my head I wanted to sell it and been sick since. I am sure I want a crusier just because I like taking it easy on the country roads here in kentucky. The way I see it no need to be bent over a tank again, b/c I like sitting back and eating bugs at night...
