Pricey, but I've got a full face Arai, and it is very comfortable (when I wear it). I prefer no helmet, but on cold / rainy days, I love it!

I'll let you guys know what I think of it.

 

I have a Drifter and an HD half...I hate both of them and haven't worn them on the bike once. I'm actually gonna sell them and get the German style DOT helmet they have at Ramjet.

 

I wear a modular, flip up face shield, actually two, and I love them. You simply cannot beat being to open that face shield up on a hot day, and then drop it down for quiet and wind protection on the freeway or when its cold.

 

I would just say this: in 20% of motorcyle accidents, you're gonna take it on the chin.

If you are turned off by a 1 in 5 chance of eating liquid food through a straw for the rest of your life, look at a full-face or modular helmet.

At the end of the day, chicks dig guys with chins.

I'm just saying...

 

As long as you just use the face shield to flip up and down, that's cool...I wouldn't recommend riding with the chin guard up, though...at least on the highway. It tends to catch air and buffet a lot.
