Default Thanks for SAMRT advice on baffles

Went to HD Stealership..bought parts...picked up some beer and headed to my friends garage for them to work on my bike..

Weput in Stage 1 Air Filter, Re-jetted the carb., put in Rush pipes (with the baffles)....$$$$$$$$$ (The Stealership loves to see me come in) When they see me come in.. they say "Hello sucker", I mean Hello.. Lisa"! hehehe

and let me tell you.. HUGE difference! When going up hills, I didn't have to down shift.. it has MUCH more power and PEP than before!

ANd did I mention the Sound?? LOVE IT!
Did one change to the RUSH pipes however, I pulled the baffles out and removed the Padding that is around them then re-intalled them into the pipes... nice sounding difference!

Do "they" think we won't remove that stuff? heheh[sm=deal.gif].. sooo thanks to all of you for your knowledge and advice!

What can I do next with "Stormy"? would love to paint Pink,Yellow and Orange flames all over my bike!

good deal! Glad it worked out for you. When you go up those hills its a still a good practice to downshift... You may lug the motor even tho it feels like there is plenty of power there. Luggin is worse than WFO for your mill. Besides, downshifting is good, it makes the motor sound better
