Figured i would update this story. I went to the dealer on Fri after visiting a few other dealers in the area. Told them what the lowest offer i had was and that I would give them 24 hours to think about it. I went home and within 20 minutes had a call from the salesman asking if i could stop back at the dealership saturday morning. Went in saturday morning and they not only matched the offer but threw in a helmet, gloves, and 1000 mile service for nothing. I signed the deal and rode the bike home that day with a giant grin on my face. I had a few thoughts about maybebeing able to get them togo a little lower since they caved so fast but then I twisted the throttle and quickly forgot about that.

Congrats on you new nightster.
As rational as most make the buying decision sound, buying a motorcycle is one of the most emotional decisions anyone makes. (definitely irrational according to some in my family) Glad you got a better deal.
So I gues you know you now have to tell us what the final deal was so we can have a happy ending to the story

Final price was $10,500 otd. They threw in a helmet, gloves, 1000 mile service, 3 t-shirts, a hat and the little cooler bag with the swag in it. I was happy.

 

This seems like a fair deal to me. Considering tax and registration fee's were included you appeared to do ok. Then again, Im not expert on purchasing Nightsters...Regardless, enjoy and good luck!
