Nonstop.I measured the Nightster. As someone said, 26.25" diameter. Tire width-fatest point to fatest point about 5".If you are making a channel to hold the tire for towing, I'd go about 20" long, and 20" high. I'd use a channel width of at least 5.5 to 6". I built one on my trailer for my other bike. You want the extra width in the channel as you will compress the tire when you compress the forks-if that's the way you plan to secure it. Send us a picture. Everybody likes pictures. Good luck with the trailer and the new bike. Dan

Nonstop, thought I'd through out another suggestion. When I made my "holder" for the front wheel for my other bike, I used4 or 5" channel. Cut it at the center or lenght I needed across(bottom) and up. Made a pie cut, bent the iron to make an L then welded the seam. I bolted it to the floor of the trailer. My point is, if you make an "L" bracket, you secure the wheel both at the bottom and front and need to compress it less against the front of your trailer assuming you are only using a bottom bracket. Sorry if this makes no sense, it's been one of those days. Dan

Thanks alot guys.

Think I can add some pics now.

Heres the trailer. Bought for an ATV, but will work for the new bike.

Picked up a kit from the same makers as the trailer.

Here.

Heres my mock up.

Nonstop, that will work and no welding required. Dan
