Default RE: Riding a sportster

My first harley was a 79 1000 Sporty it leaked oil and rattled down the road I was wrenching it all the time and decided i wanted better so bought a roadking (big bucks) well after riding it for 2 years withought hardley any wrenchingI just purchased a 79 sporty to go along with it (for the wife)I missed the sporty to much had to have another. I bought her a 99 600 honda shadow (totally customized chopper) for $1600 on valentines day but it was just wrong having a honda parked next to my roadking so i traded it even up for the 20 year older sporty I wrenched on it all day yesterday getting it ready for her to ride when she finishes the riders course, I was in heaven!! This one dosen't leak a drop of oil and I don't miss that though!!! So I say it isen't what you ride it is that you ride what you like if others don't like it tell them to kiss your a$$!
