I just bought a sportster and love it....

 

To be honest you look a little big on it. As long as you feel comfortable though...

 

I am about 6 foot 2 and average build...I always think that I look big on my Sporty, but at my dealer there was a guy about my build sitting on a Sporty and he looked just fine on it. I asked how tall he was and turns out that he was 2 inches taller than me.

So like it was stated above....if you like it....it fits. Don't let anyone tell you what to ride.

If I'm at a dealer and sit on a bike for the hell of it, some sales guy comes by and says "it looks good on you."

Ordered a HD Thunder Hill leather jacket through Zanotti and went to a dealer to try on the jacket to make sure the fit was right before placing the order. Sure enough, salesperson walks by and says "That jacket looks good on you." Saw a different jacket that caught my eye and tried it on.As I was walkingto the mirror, same salesperson walks by and says "That jacket looks good on you too", quickly followed by "You should buy both of them."

I must look good enough to be a bike and clothes model!!! (Targeting the almost 60, short, and bald demographic)

Yea you look OK on the Sporty but yu would really fit great on a dyna. Over 6ft and folks just start lookin alittle tall for such a short bike like the Sportster. I'm 6ft and 200 lbsw and if I was any bigger I don't think I would look the fit of Sportsters and I've had 4 of them over the last 40years.
But if you really like it then get it, your the one whos ridein it not us..
