Curious...Are they all made of steel or aluminum? They polish up nice enough. How were the black ones made black? Just F.Y.I. I do some custom anodizing, if they are made of aluminum then anodizing is the way to go! Paint won't hold worth a damn on aluminum. I suspect that they are steel but I thought I would mention it.
CNC Lathes are the cats *** for work like this! A fellow could make himself well over 100 per hour if he wanted to...They look good! As far as folks worrying about ripping themselves apart on them during a wipeout, I have one word of advice :Keep the rubber side down, knuckleheads! If you do wipe out these things are the least of your worries!

WTF do spikes on axles have to do with killing yourself? If you end up anywhere near or under your axles in a wreck, you were doing some dumb **** and deserved what's coming to your ***.
I don't laugh when I see gayass skulls or something I'm not really into on someone's bike, I actually appreciate the difference, even if it's not my thing.
I only laugh when I see someone doing something so stupid that it's warranted. In this case, I don't think it is.
The last time I laughed at anyones bike, some idiot was riding a sporstster with 6" risers, 16" apes, and NO...that's right NO exhaust....THAT was worth laughing at.
I actually like these, great craftsmanship and they look kickass!
