A seat has to be used to fit your butt.

I have had more than a few new ones and it is allways the same.

Time is required sitting and using it for it to form to you.

Remember your baseball mitt. Same thing ...

A Sundowner seat is a big improvment over the stock seat. I had one on my last Custome. On the 06 1200-C I just got, I'm going to try a Mustang seat, because I like the look of it better. A lot of people on here say the Mustang is just as good as the Sundowner. I hope so...
BTW you have a nice looking ride...

Thanks for all the replys. What some of you are saying about giving my current seat a chance makes sence. I rode the bike to work last night and I didn't even think about the seat. My main concern right now is the bars, and that is mostly because they seem to be at a negative rise causing me to see just my shoulder blades in my mirrors.

I am also a little concerned about the clutch and the shifting mechanism. The clutch seams to release when the lever is less than 1/8th" from pulled in, and sometime the bike feels like it might still be pulling slightly when it is all the way in. I am having a hard time getting it in neutral, especially when at a complte stop. However, when I am rolling slightly, or the motor is off, it slips right in. Maybe I just need to get used to it.

Your clutch issue is likely nothing more than a routine clutch adjustment procedure. Get yourself a Service Manual and a few tools and dig in. I also recommend the Fix My Hog DVD as an adjunct to the Service Manual, it walks you through all the standard maintenance procedures. http://fixmyhog.com
