I have a sportster that I want to put a springer front end off a softtail. My question is will it work, are all neck sizes the same? Please give me some advice. Thanks.........

You will be money and time ahead to buy a springer designed for a sportster. Several company's make and have access to them. For starters I would check Redneck Engineering and Paughco. Redneck Engineering is big into sportsters and buells and Paughco has been building frames and components for pretty much ever.

The softail front end will work, but the fork stops may have to be modified, depending on the year sporty you're putting it on. It's also going to change your rake/trail, which may or may not be a bad thing...seems a bit iffy to just use the front end off a springer softy.

+1 to flatlander...I'd also check out LedSledCustom's springers. They're nice lookin and ride well from experience.
