RE: suspenison and seats for nightster
I bought a Mustang Fastback seat to do what you are looking at, but my wife didn't really show an interest so I never got the passanger pegs and what not. The Mustang seat would be good for short rides, bar hopping etc. and is more comfortable than the stock solo seat. I paid like $250 i think. Hope this helps.

RE: suspenison and seats for nightster
I weigh 180 and my girls weighs about 120. I didn't change the shocks and I have yet to bottom out. I got the Mustang Daytripper for a good deal from a guy on this forum and I am really happy with it. Put the quick detach small sissy bar on (I like to GO when the light turns green) and she is perfectly happy on rides up to 200 miles. She did say her but got a little sore at the end but she is new to riding too so that may be a factor.
This is going to do us just fine for the summer till I have the funds for a big bike and can start Really playing with the look of the Nightster.
Yes, I plan on being a two bike guy.

What in the world made you think THAT??????
The reason I chose the Low over the Nightster was my riding style. I don't ride two up, but I load crap on the pillion and tie it to the sissy bar and luggage rack. It's a daily rider, so size, manuveurability (sp?), fuel economy, ownership costs, and reliability factored into it. I put it on the highway at 70+ mph almost daily, so the windshield certainly helps, too.

My nightster does fine 2 up, stock shocks and just added a passenger pillion, still have stock solo seat. Rode 400 miles with her on the back, I weigh 240 she is about 125, never bottomed out,her *** did not hurt and she can't wait to go again. We were both very comfortable, and I will be even more comfortable if my highway pegs ever get here damn it.
