Are there any tricks to reaching the rear spokes on a Nightster to clean them?

 

I don't know about the Nightser, but I use a portable steamer (like the one you see on the TV ad) with the spray nozzle and a sponge on my 1200C. Brake dust and crap comes off like it was nothing.

 

I like iceman's method but I don't have a steamer. I use Turtle Wax Platinum All Wheel & Tire Cleaner because it says it's safe for clear coat, no spots on the paint from it. I spray some on and use a long 1 1/2 inch paint brush to agitate it. Works pretty good, but with everything, the more time you spend, the better results. After a good cleaning, I only do it every3rd or 4thwashing.

 

Spray your rims/spokes, engine and anywhere tough to reach, with Shout (laundry detergent spray) let soak while your washing rest of the bike and hose off. Works fine and really disolves, dirt, grease.
