Gun lock.

 

I mounted HD helmet locks to my engine guard. Makes it tough for someone to just walk up and take the helmet but if they had a knife or some other sharp object they could cut the helmet strap and be gone. Cheap piece of mind I guess.

 

I just leave mine sitting on the seat. I figure if they want it they are gonna get it and mine as well save them the trouble of messing up something on my bike in the process.

Then again my half helmet is cheaper than a full face.

 

Very simply, buy a bright pink helmet with pastel red flames! Just leave it on your seat and no worries.

Seriously, I have a little T-Bag with a lock that I always have on the bike, I lock mine in there when the bike will be out of my site. Most places I go have tons of riders hanging around, so most times I could leave my wife's purse on the bike and it would be safe.

 

You can use a small lock through the d ring on the helmet and around the post of the mirror. Will not keep a real theif away butt will stop the less determand.

Store the helmet....no problem. I just put it on the seat. OFG is correct. Nothing you can do to keep someone from taking it if they want to.

 

I usually just hang my beanie helmet from the foot peg or over the license plate. Nobody would want it anyway due to all thescratches from being dropped on gravel/asphalt/cement, 8 years of my of my sweat in it, and the padding is about shot anyway.....[&:]....Maybe it's time for a new one.[8D]

 

Leave it in the garage

 

Or be like me......

I don't even own one..
