New tires?
Well I got the bike out on Sunday and noticed the side walls of my tires are starting to crack. This is my first bike, a 02 883C. It has the org. dunlaps on it now. Some friends at work told me there are better brands that have better grip. Just looking for suggestions and a price idea. What do you all ride on?
Thanks for any help.

RE: New tires?
I have made more than 100 000miles with ME880.
That's the best stuff you'll be able to find.
But I'm so curious and I decided to try other tire brand.
I fit a rear D402 DUNLOP (previously for FLH) on my 98' sporty and a rear AVON Venon on my 97' sporty.
Well, the D402 is really better than the D401 which is for me a wonderful "crap"....[:-]
For the avon, I haven't riden enough for a real opinion but after having riding in the cold, on dry roads and under the rain, it seems to be a very good product.
In the past, AVON tires were also "wonderful crap".
In France, we used to add a "S" to AVON to make the word "SAVON", which means SOAP in french...

RE: New tires?
I came across this site that seems to have pretty good prices on the ME880's.
