From what I hear the SEII exhaust isn't much louder than the stock exhaust?? What year is your bike?

no the baffles are there all right, but I'll look and see if the flap is bent down, if it is should i take the baffle out and bend it back up ? I believe they will set off car alarms it sure shakes the garage floor when I twist it a bit LOL ..............I just checked its open about a 1/4 inch

Martin

1/4" then they haven't been touched. I have the SEII with Big City baffles, isn't going to be any quieter with those. Without going to stock pipes I have don't have anything to compare them to. Hopefully some others tell you if a different manufacture is quieter then the SE pipes.

Hey fiveinthelive, I am actually looking at getting a new exhaust system. I will check the 2 into 1 out. I just posted a poll on the Sportster forum to see which exhausts people like, sound wise.

I just checked vanceandhines.com and it doesn't look like they have a 2 into 1 system for the 08 Sporster.
