V&H Nightsters: Shortshots Staggered or Double Barrel
Hi all,
Ordering V&H exhaust for my 2008 Nightster is just a click away. Before I do though, I would like to get feedback on which to go for: I'm torn between the sensational looks of the black staggered shortshots - which many nightsters have on - and the chrome double barrels. My decision will based on the sound really. The V&H description of the double barrel pipes emphasizes more on performance and sound, whereas the description of the shortshots on style.
If any of you guys can provide feedback, I would greatly appreciate it.
Cheers,[/align]

I got the shortys and love them the sound is amasing. They are loud when I say loud its almost too much for me I run a gear higher than I should to keep em quiet, but they demand attention. Also I like the all crome covers on them the black ones seem to take away from the look... The stock pipes came crome they should remane crome.
I do have to say instaling the shortys was easer than removing the stock pipes. You will be happy with them I know I am.

Can I just ask, are they loud with a deep rumble, or rather a sharp "racer" one?

Adding the Quiet Baffles keeps the deep roar without the sharp sound - I aded the Quiet Baffles late fall & have been very happy wth the sound (took some of th edge off)
