I have some upstairsneighbors at my new condo who have a2 and 5 yearold. I swear they feed them sugar and turn them loose! They run from one end of the place to the other and it sounds like they climb the furniture and jump off constantly.Keep in mind the place was whisper quiet when we looked at it. (I was here walking around in the place on 3 seperate occasions)
I politely asked them to try to keep the jumping to a minimum (cause I undertsandkids like to run) and the b!tch said"as long as you keep your dog quiet".
Keep in mind during the cold months I take a bit of a hiatus from work (since selling cars in the winter sucks) and am here doing market research and car/truck searches during the day for our specialty customers. I know my dog is quiet since I'm here all day.
I hate to see what they think when I fire up the harleyto leavein the spring if they think my dog(who doesn't make a sound during the day unless he reeeeaaaally has to ****) is loud...

you should just fire that thing up at like 3am for the heck of it. Let it warm up rev it up. And let it go till some lights go on. Then go put in some ear plugs and go to bed. Cause you know those kids will be up after all that racket.

 

For the time being, my bike is at my Sister and Brother inlaws in their heated garage. The neighbors don't even know I own a Harley yet, much less a loud one. The first time it shows up here it will have the new mods done (well for now).

As far as starting it up at 3 am, there's other people in the building who are actually cool so I will be respectful to them by not doing that. I'm not an azzhole till I get treated like one.

 

Yea, Apartment living is hard with even one crummy neighbor. Good Luck. Moms tune that **** out and think anyone who cant is a wimp. I know, my wife and I have a Photo studio and get more than a few hard cases.

Ric, I know kids like to run and be rambunctious. Most of the time it doesn't bother me. When It goes on from 4 pm until almost 10 pm straight (shouldn't a 2 and 5 year old be in bed by 8 pm?)... that's when it get's to me.
We got this Condo because it was whisper quiet when we looked at it and because it's almost 2500 square feet in size not counting the 1.5 car private garage.
I guess parenting values today have changed since I was a kid. I would have gotten my hide tanned if Iran and jumped 1/4 as much as they do, or if I wasn't in bed by 8pm at that age.

Sounds like the biotch needs to wake up to a flat tire here and there. Take a valve stem needle tool and let the air out. Tighten back up and replace the cap. Will drive her nuts. Won't do much to stop the noise, but...paybacks are hell! BTW - I've never done this
