well ups pulled through for me..i got the pipes today instead of monday..my pipes dont seem to slash down as far as some of the other members troublemakers..but i like them..seems i have the loose baffle problem as well and im working on that right now..here is a pic of it ..also for those who want these pipes that have an 07 or 08 sportster they have the 02 bung on them,they came with plugs to cap them off..

Pipes look good... I wonder why they shortened them up...
Though yours look sweet... I'm still kinda partial to the side scallop cut myself...[8D]
Performance wise... I noticed a bigdrop when I went from the Hookers to short shots... and one of the reasons I'm saving my pennies for another set of Hookers...

Hooker must have redesigned the ends of the pipes to allow more lean angle......Mine are the longer version and they can scrape if I really go deep in a right lean.....but just the lower rear scrapes and it doesn't harm anything.....One good thang about your shorter pipes is they will not throw up clouds of dust and gravel like mine do.
Mine do not have a Hooker logo, but they were shipped direct from Hooker factory in Hooker box.....There is no doubt they are the real thing because of the UPS paper trail....I got them from eBay seller who has them drop-shipped from factory.
Glad you like them.....Now go find you some 5/16 X 24 locknuts for the head flanges cause you are going to need them.
