See, that's why you buy a standard or an R...then you can have a fork bag and it won't hit yer fender

I don't think I'd have to worry about a 'fork bag' hitting my front fender.

I have a small tool bag on the fork, use a Land's End carry-on bag on the sissy bar for rain gear etc.

I bought a HD fork bagbut did not like the look of it upfront so I laid my plate down then used the screw from the seat to mount it between the plate and the seat, works great, doesn't interfear with the passenger and I think it looks goodback there.
It will hold a few tools, gloves, smokes etc but it's not big enough for beer

I don't like the fork bags. We had one on the 883, and I think it caused the bike to run hotter. After we repainted it, I left it off.

Go to geoleather.com you won't find a better tool bag. i attached mine to my left swingarm.
