Keep it man. It's your bike and you are right, it does add more chrome.

Looks good man!The fringes on the grips are a bit outta place. I think if you were gonna keep them I'd reduce the length to atleast half the size.The crashbar doesn't look terrible and it's protection for all of that chrome if you did accidently drop the bike.

The buildings in the background look exactly likethe Condo my mom lives in over in Largo FL.

Heh, heh....better question is how do your neighbors like them?........I'm semi rural and I know my neighbors hate mine even tho they are several hundred or more feet away......Oh well, that's the breaks, huh?

If you keep the crash guard, check out the crash bar mounted HD fog/driving lights. I've got a pair mounted on my RKC and they REALLY turn night into day

 

Looks good, the crash bars aren't bad, but I'm not a fan of the tassels.
