Derby cover
I tried to google it but to no avail, what is a derby cover/billet cover is this HD terminology?

In the true sense, Billet means a part machined from a soild piece of metal. It's never a cast part.

And billet isn't always heavier...in fact its usually lighter...and more durable.

Agree with that. Billet of metal near to the general shape, then it's machined to its final condition.
