knock on wood i havent done that too my nightster yet. however whenever i got my truck i got under it and put a little scratch on it just so it wouldnt bother me when the first one happend. i almost did it to the bike in a hidden spot put decided against it

 

Hey Man just call it a battle scar. You will see it every time you look at your bike,but chances ar e nobody else will ever even give it a second glance. Chalk it up experience and rid the thang.

 

The best things are made with blood, sweat and tears, literally.

and in the future, when installing chrome...tape the part off with masking tape so you can't scratch it as easily....just a tip
