Call me crazy but I have ordered 13.5" 440's for my 1200N.... I am looking for the max suspension travel, and with my big butt the bike will sit look slammed when I am sitting on it. HAHAHAHAH!

I weigh in at about 155-160 max, so I am looking to see what I need for improved suspenion feel/performance without raising the rear end too much.

fast gto,

I don't think you weight enough for 440's.... I would look at 412's at 11.5 or 12" with normal duty springs... The new 412's for the lower Harley models have a 1/2" stop installed to reduce the compression (travel) of the shock so it does not allow the reflector to hit the belt guard. More length = more travel which = smoother ride, however it also raises the rear.... The lowering kits also allow you to put a longer shock on without raising the look of the rear... I don't have experience with the lowering kits, but maybe a 13" with a 1" lowering kit might work....
