Is it true that the o2 sensors are disconnected when this unit is used?? I ordered one from Fuelmoto today for my 1200R, but nothing was mentioned about that...what are the ramifications of removing the o2 sensors???...thanks...Rob

NOthe 02 sensors are not used witha PC III !!! The unit interrupts the signal to the ECM and feeds it "false" information. It will not harm the machine. The kit comes with plugs for the sensor pigtails to seal them.

Yep. You're going to unplug your O2 sensors (electrical connection) and put little caps on the wires that basically have a little resistor in there to trick your ECU into thinking something is there. The PCIII takes over for the O2 sensors, and assuming you have the correct map downloaded to your PCIII, is perfectly normal and won't hurt anything.

Does disconnecting the O2 sensors affect the ability of the bike to make changes to account for altitude changes? Sorry, still figuring out what all senses what on these injection systems.
