RE: Advice on Wide Glide front end conversion?
Not much...you can either buy a conversion kit or just a set of trees and an axle (aside from the wheel). Your sporty will most likely still use a 1" neck cup, but you will need to watch for a couple few things...
Make sure your fork stops don't interfere with the trees...internal is best if you can find it.
Use the front (single disc) wheel off a fatboy if you can find one....its more cost-effective and will fit perfectly.
MAKE SURE you shim the wheel correctly...it should be snug and roll freely, not wobbly and loose, or over-tight. It's a pain in the *** but trust me...it's worth it.

Hey 6o66er.
Sorry I didn't reply to this immediately. Been a bit busy lately, but I'm back on the front end conversion again. Thanks for the advice. I'm busy pricing some options. I'll let you know what happens.
BTW. That's a hot ride you have there bud!
