Default progressive suspension

Does anyone out there run a 11.5" progressive shock, and how is the ride quality. Thanks.

I have the heavy duty ones. They're a major improvement. I have the front fork springs too but I'm not sure about those yet. I might have to cut the spacers a bit because they ride is a little stiff.

Nice, I need a smoother ride and was wondering if 11.5" provides a plush ride.

Give Rob at Robs Cycle Supplies a try.

I finally found a seller in the US that will look after me on prices and shipping at last.
Slight hiccup with one order but rectified asap and at no cost to me.

If it is not listed just send him a message and he will source it for you.

It's subjective. There's just no way to get a universally "good" ride on lowered suspensions. You can improve the ride - for a lowered suspension - with better springs and damping over stock, but you really want the full suspension travel available to make for a "good" ride.

It's a trade off.

I've had 11" and have been running 11.5" std. duty at for the last 8k miles or so(HD were too stiff unless you 225+lbs.) and while I would say they're an improvement and feel pretty good they're not "plush". If you want plush then get 12.5" std. duty 412s as they run 75-120 rate springs and coupled with added travel the ride will be ultra smooth.

Progressive told me the 12" and up, will have the 75-120 rate spring on the standard duty. So thats what I got this winter for my 06 1200-C. Now I have to wait untill spring [ if it ever gets here ] to find out how it rides...
