It's quick and fun to ride and it was in my budget. I can't wait to get my Deluxe but I'm keeping the Sportster.

 

Sportsters make great 'pit bikes'.....

When going out to the track I put my Sportster in the saddlebag of my RoadKing, and take it out when I get to the destination....

Just Kidding of course, as I like Sportsters as much as anyone else, and mine is a permanentpart of my "Harley Fleet"..

 

to me the sportster is the most practical bike for my style of riding,i usually stay within 100 miles from home,its great for scooting around town,it looks great,it sounds great,it handles great,i dont need a bigger bike to impress anyone..guys have suggested to me before that i should trade it in on a dyna or softail and all i do is ask them why? i dont need one i can do anything with my sportster that they can do on the big twin and then some..i wouldnt want to trade mine in anyway--i have to much **** done to mine and dont want to start all over again...

 

I like having a Harley without the drama of a dresser, nimble in traffic, & can pass a cruiser like no ones business. Just a great platform

 

I dunno....but I just keep buying them
My other 2 I never did any customization too, I just rode them.
I think that's why I'm doing so much to this one. Kinda fun stuff

The most fun you can have with your clothes on. I've always wanted one then AMF screwed that up and I went away from Harley. Now I have one and I feel proud to have and ride it. The people that have the copys can eat the hearts out I have the real thing.

 

Honestly I wanted a softtail, then I found out I couldn't afford one so I look at the sportsters, and I really like the custom so I bought it. then I fell in love with it because I like how nimble it is in city traffic and it is not that bad on long rides especially with the new seat I got. Its pretty quick since I did some mods and it is a kick to ride.

FUN FUN FUN...I don't need mine to commute or take long trips it's just for fun and it's perfect for that.
