Gonna be 64 and sunny tomorrow. Gonna ride to a meetup that the PGR is having, then I'm going to the local dealer for a pig picken and meeting some others there then going for a nice ride into North Carolina.
What part of NC you headin' into?
Well we came across the Knotts Island ferryand went up 168 into Moyock and then crossed back into Virginia and took Ballahack Road till we hit 17 then went south back into NC again. We went down by Winfall and caught37 and rode North on it back up where it turned into 13 and on up into Virginia. From there we took 13 up and back to our various home cities.

Alltogether with the PGR meetI also had this morning, I put a total of about 200 miles on today. Great day to ride.

Our temps are gonna be about 4 tomorrow and wind chills are only supposed to be about -25 so I think I might be able to get out for a couple hours.
MJ, That is cold man. I hope it warms up for you. I saw how the cold front is just holding up there a few hundred miles north west of us.

I dig that photo in you sig, Cool!

Ric27,Was a nice day to ride, got a little cold with the wind and sun going down.Wife and I went thru Leipers Fork, then on the Trace down to 412, back to Columbia and 31 up to Franklin. Always looking for fellow riders.

David
Dave, That sounds like a great run. I haven't gotten to the trace yet on my scoot. I really like that road. Seems like it was made for motorcycles. I got caught out as the sun was going down Friday evening. That will let you know it is still winter. Berrrr...

Lets try and hook up

Ric,
Enjoyed our ride together. Your Sportster is really lookin good, and sounding good!
Next time it warms a bit lets ride down the Trace to the spot where Merriweather Lewis killed himself. I always wanted to stop there.

Haha, thanks man. Yeah we were out for breakfast this morning and there were a few time where, literally, I couldn't see the front of my car. Its about 3 degrees out and 40mph wind gusts. It's so bad up here that even churches are cancelled! I'm hoping by April it will be decent enough to ride. The worst thing about Michigan is the amount of salt they put on the roads. You have to wait until you have a couple HARD rains so it clears all the salt off the road or else that stuff gets up in to every nook and cranny of your bike and you'll never get it out.
