Pulling baffles
Ok i was thinking of pulling the baffles out of my SEII but before i started i wanted to ask how hard it is. Well from my understanding i will just pull the two bolts off the bottom of the pipe and will it just slide out or do you have to fight with it and how hard will it be to put it back in.

RE: Pulling baffles
pair of needle nose plyers after the bolts are out i an easy way to grab the baffels- I can get mine out in less than 2 min - don't toss the bolts, unless you want the neighbors knowing your every move, and have zero hearing left, they might be going back in - mine did- kid in the back seat couldn't deal with it

RE: Pulling baffles
I did not take HC's pipes off, the first one was the most difficult then, knowing how it came off the next was easy. Spray some wd40 on the seam, needle nose pliers and kinda twist them til they move inside, then start pulling outwards, once you free them up a bit they come right out

Well i gave it a try today and had no luck any pointer i don't have to take the pipe off do i?

RE: Pulling baffles
Its not hard at all. Unscrew the two screws holding them in at the exit of the muffler, remove the mufflers and push the baffles out from the pipe side. I used a broom handle. I put them back because it sounded two throaty and leaned out my mixture too much. I think SE IIs sound better with the baffles in. Removing them doent make them much louder.
