would you put these on a bike with mid controls? I already have the grips,,t hey are nice.

I also would like to know if they can be used on mid-controls. They show a pair in the 2012 HD catalog (page 557, item G), but according to the description it doesn't appear that you can. "Fits models with forward controls (then lists several exceptions). Does not fit with mid-controls or with frame mounted highway pegs." Maybe a different brand would work?
