was watching biker bildoff sometime this past week - Alin ness's son was up against someone and one of the bikes had twin carbs - nesses had a three cylinder. laughed my ars off when the twin carb bike got only 32 miles before running out of gass - custom tank held a little ober a gallon - looked good though - ness won

purefire: Use a stethoscope with a metal tube probe. Balance at idle and at about 2000 rpm. When they all sound alike when holding the tube about 1/2 inch into and perpendicular to the airstream at each carb, the carbs are about as synchronized as they are going to get. ......... BC
