That looks great- so you used high tempgrill paint? Has anyone else done it? Anxious to hear how it lasts! I like my stock exhaust, but want black. Thinking of V&H short or sideshots, but fear even with quiet baffles they'll be too loud for my taste.

RE: well....I painted them for now.
there a a couple of different types of powders some are thermo-set meaning once they get hot and cool thats it, they are not gonna get soft again. then the other kind is not it will get soft every time it gets hot. you can powder almost anything as long as it can take the heat now, wood, some types of plastics etc there is a special coating that you spray on to make it carry current so the powder will stick. the body shop i was in also was a full powder coat shop also. we could do car frames had a 25ft long oven.

I have painted chrome many times the secret I found was to use my 4" hand grinder with a flap wheel on it and grind the chrome off and then instead of using header paint use stove paint that stuff never comes of and if you scratch it just give it a fresh shot of paint.
